The Hush Post: With 1.4 million Indians visiting Thailand in 2017, India has become Thailand’s fifth largest source market. But why is the big question? Are they sanskari Indian families or rowdy single men? Well, a mix of both. Thailand received over 35.3 million international visitors in 2017. It is an over 18 per cent increase of footfalls to Thailand from India compared to last year, a press release said.
However, there is a strange phenomena, to it. Millions of lone Indian tourists go to Thailand for sightseeing every year. And this number is increasing. Though, there is no estimate to it, but 98 per cent of the Indian men, like their British counterpart, if they are going alone to Thailand, it means they are going for sex. And sex menu is extensive. It begins with something called Happy Ending (the most popular with single Indian man), Rub & Tug, Sensual, Erotic, Nuru, Tantric, Japanese, Bondage, Rape Play, Hot Wax, Blindfold, Face-Sitting, Body Worship, Cross-Dressing, 4 Hand ( 2 girls massaging ), Lady Boy… the list goes on and on as per the Huffington Post.
India ranks among the top five in terms of visitors to Thailand after China, Malaysia, Korea and Laos. With its economy mostly dependent on tourism, Thailand is a tourist’s paradise with diving, adventure, adventure parks, historical monuments on the visitors’ list, if the visitor is a family. Or else, it is what begin with a body massage and ends with sex.
“Within this, there is a focus on specific customer segments, like gastronomy tourism, luxury, weddings and honeymoons, families, women travellers and Gen Y,” Tourism Authority of Thailand Director Soraya Homchuen said. We want to boost the average length of stay, expenditure and repeat visit, he further said. With its new campaign ‘Open to the New Shades of Thailand’ it aims to pay more attention to unique local experiences and inclusive tourism.
