A 65-year-old man died at Fortis Hospital today. Initially, he had tested negative for COVID-19. Though, on another occasion he tested positive.
The 65-year-old was a retired engineer of the Amritsar Nagar Nigam. He passed away at Fortis Hospital where he was being treated for coronavirus.
According to Civil Surgeon Dr Prabhdeep Kaur Johal, the deceased some time back had visited Guru Nanak Dev Hospital complaining of cold and cough.
He was tested for coronavirus, the result of which came out negative.
When he again complained of the same symptoms, he was referred to Fortis Hospital, where he tested positive for coronavirus.
