The Hush Post: Within days of 19 people killed in Afghanistan, which had most Sikhs killed, 10 people have been killed as a suicide bomber blew himself up in a fresh attack in the city of Jalalabad, Afghanistan on Tuesday. These figures have been released by Afghanistan government officials.
Spokesperson for the provincial health department in the eastern city, Inamullah Miakhel has confirmed the death of 10 people and also said that at least four people had been injured. The attacker blew himself near a fuel station, causing a huge fire.
The bomber walked on foot and targeted the intelligence service.
Most victims were children working in a car wash centre near the site Sohrab Qaderi, a member of the provincial council said. Victims were taken to hospital with severe burns.
Meanwhile, in the western province of Farah, Taliban fighters attacked police checkpoints, killing three and wounding four.
The attack took place late on July 9, in the Bala Buluk district.
At least five Taliban insurgents were killed, and seven injured in the gun battle, the spokesman said.
Regarding the suicide bombing in Jalalabad no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
