Everyone is trying to spread awareness against the coronavirus across the globe. Be it celebrities or organizations, all are pleading citizens to stay in their homes. In a similar bid, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has come up with a quirky appeal to the public to stay at home.
The BMC has smartly utilized the archives of the 2000 soap opera, Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi. The BMC has shared a small clip of the Ekta Kapoor’s superhit serial on Instagram. It is a title track of the serial which features Union Minister Smriti Irani. Irani had played the lead role of Tulsi in the serial, and had gone on to become a household name.
The BMC has posted the clip innovatively. It posted in in the reverse way, where Tulsi is seeing closing the door on the viewers’ faces.
The BMC ha captioned the video, ‘Kyunki Saans Bhi Bahut Smart Thi.’ She refused the home tour to any visitors, for the safety of her family members during the lockdown’.
The video has since gone viral on the social media. Social media users have appreciated the BMC’s efforts to spread awareness.
In fact, Smriti Irani too shared the video. She wrote, “Saas ho ya Bahu stay at home and keep your loved ones safe”.
