The 23-year-old woman has alleged that she came to know that she was sexually exploited when she regained consciousness hours later

The Hush Post: Six months later when she was allegedly gang-raped by four unidentified men, a woman from Andhra Pradesh has now woken up to get a rape case registered in this regard.

The alleged victim is a 23-year-old woman from Andhra Pradesh and the alleged rape took place in Guntur city of the state. The alleged rape incident took place about six months ago and the alleged victim, who lives in a private hostel, has now lodged an FIR with the SR Nagar police in Hyderabad.

The alleged victim has said in her complaint said that she had come to Hyderabad last year to search for a job and she had stayed in a private hostel. There, she became friends with one Sirisha, who took her to Guntur in March this year, a report said.

“She took me to the Secunderabad Railway Station on the pretext of meeting some people who offered me a job. We went to the station, but they did not turn up. She then took me to Guntur, from there in the train claiming to meet someone who also offered me a job,” the alleged victim was quoted as saying in the report.

The woman reportedly told the cops that she was taken to a Guntur situated guest house, where she was offered drinks laced with sedatives. When she fell unconscious, four men raped her, the report said.

The woman said that she came to know about her sexual exploitation when she regained consciousness hours later. The SR Nagar police have lodged an FIR of rape and have started investigating the matter. The police said that as the offence occurred in Guntur, it will be transferred to the concerned police station.

The police said no person has been arrested so far.
