Mistaking legendary track and field athlete PT Usha for tennis star Sania Mirza, the organizers of National Sports Day Celebrations in Vishakhapatnam put up a poster of Sania Mirza’s picture with PT Usha’s name.
The pictures of the poster put up on Beach Road went viral on social media. While some people criticized the poster and some made fun of it. Indian pop-singer and Telugu actress Smita also shared the picture on Twitter and wrote, “Epic… can u help me hashtag # it”.

Sania Mirza is a famous Indian tennis player and a former world no. 1 in the doubles category of the game. She has won grand slam titles till now in her career. She has also received Arjuna Award, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri.
On the other hand, Pilavullakandi Thekkeparambil Usha is a retired Indian track and field athlete. She had won four gold medals in the 1986 Asian Games held in Seoul. She received the Arjuna Award in 1983 and Padma Shri in 1985.
