Two persons in Himachal Pradesh have tested to be positive for Coronavirus. These are the first cases in the hill state which have been confirmed positive of COVID-19 in preliminary tests. Both the patients are from Kangra.
As per reports, 14 suspected cases of Coronavirus have been reported in Himachal Pradesh. Out of these, 2 have tested positive while the report of 9 others has come out to be negative. The test reports of three patients are yet to come.
The authorities have sent samples of the two positive cases to National Institute of Virology (NIV) in Pune for confirmation.
Novel Coronavirus has claimed more than 10 thousand lives globally. Coronavirus continues to affect thousands of others and in India more than 200 cases have been found positive for COVID-19. India has so far registered 5 deaths.
The situation is alarming as around a 50 persons have been confirmed positive in a single day on Friday.
