The Hush Post: In a shocking recovery, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)’s 42,000 missing answer sheets of class 10 was found from a scrap dealer’s shop in Bihar. The Bihar Police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) have found these 42,000 answer sheets from the scrap dealer and has arrested two men in this regard.

The SIT had raided the shop at Hajiyapur in Gopalganj district on Saturday after receiving secret information and found all the answer sheets that had gone missing last week. The Sit has arrested the scrap dealer and his helper for purchasing them, a report said.

The police said that the scrap dealer Pappu Gupta has confessed that a peon Chotu Singh of a government school had sold the answer sheets for Rs 8,500 to him last week, it was reported.

After some local Hindi dailies reported last week about 42,000 answer sheets going missing from SS Balika Inter School in Gopalganj, the police had lodged an FIR and detained the school Principal and interrogated, the report said.

The Patna High Court had also taken cognizance of reports and asked the state government to come up with an explanation within a month. Around 17.7 lakh students had taken the BSEB 2018 10th class exam, the report said.
