Orchard owner flees from the spot after allegedly killing the minor boy
The Hush Post: Over a petty issue of alleged theft of mangoes, an orchard owner in Bihar shot dead a 12-year-old boy. The man allegedly shot the minor boy in his head to stop him from plucking mangoes from his orchard.
The shocking incident was reported from Khagaria area of Bihar on Thursday. The victim boy reportedly died on the spot and the orchard owner fled away from the spot, a report said on Friday.
According to the report, initially the victim boy was playing in Shergarh village and later he reportedly entered an orchard and allegedly started plucking mangoes from there. The orchard owner saw the minor boy taking mangoes and this made him furious. In a fit of anger, the orchard owner allegedly shot the boy on his head, the report.
The boy’s body has been sent for a post-mortem and an investigation has been started by the cops in this matter, it was reported.
“We have searched the suspect’s home and operations are on to arrest him. A case has also been registered,” a police official was quoted as saying in the report.
