Central?Board of Secondary Education?CBSE?has released sample papers and marking method for class 10 and 12 board exams 2020.
Those appearing for the exam in February-March 2020 can download the sample papers of all subjects online from the CBSE?website at cbse.nic.in.
Students preparing for the board exams can solve the sample papers released by CBSE. The CBSE exams are expected to begin in the month of March 2020.
Earlier Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has said that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will introduce changes in the examination pattern for class X and XII from 2019-20 session. CBSE will develop critical thinking and reasoning abilities of students. It will also help in discouraging rote learning.
The Minister said this in the parliament while responding to an unstarred question on the topic raised by MPs Keshari Dev Patel and Chirag Paswan.
Among the measures introduced to effect this change is the following:
- Reduction in the number of questions.
- More internal choices.
- Increase in the number of objective type questions.
- Reduction in subjective questions.
- Introduction of internal assessment in all subjects.
“The internal choices will be implemented on 33 per cent of the questions for the students. The one-mark objective type questions will be around 25 per cent of the questions in all subjects. Internal assessment will count for 20 per cent marks in subjects in which there is no practical assessment,” the Minister said.
