BREAKING NEWS: Class XII Maths paper rescheduled after news of paper leak; to be held now on March 31

The Hush Post: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has rescheduled the mathematics paper of Class XII after the question paper of the same was leaked hours before its scheduled start on Tuesday. The board has now said the paper will now be held on March 31 after all other papers are completed.

Earlier the mathematics question paper of class XII of PSEB got leaked on Tuesday hours before the paper was scheduled to be held. The paper was scheduled to start at 2 pm at various centres across the state. Punjab School Education Board class XII maths exam cancelled for today after alleged paper leak, will be held on March 31, confirmed the PSEB spokesperson.

Initially the board has sent another question paper on mail and rescheduled the time of paper at 3 pm. But later the board said the paper has been rescheduled once all other papers are held and the new date of math paper would be announced later.

Earlier the notification from the PSEB read: Today March 20 the scheduled Maths paper which was received should not be opened. All regional examination controllers are advised that they shall be receiving a fresh paper via email, print outs of which they should take and dispatch in signed sealed envelopes to all schools who shall also then put a receiving signature on the same.

The old question paper packets should not be opened and should be submitted along with the answer sheets
