Two sisters living as paying guests found dead in Chandigarh

Two sisters living as paying guests in Sector 22 of Chandigarh were reportedly found dead on Thursday. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem.

Two sisters have been identified as Rajwant Kaur and Manpreet Kaur who were residents of Abohar. Both of them worked in a chemical factory in Zirakpur. According to the sources, they were living as paying guests at House No. 2598 in Sector 22 for the past four years.

The parents of the deceased girls were calling them repeatedly in the morning but they didn’t answer the calls. Worried, the parents asked a relative living near to the girls’ PG to look for them.

When the relative reached their place, he found the dead bodies of the sisters. After that, the police was informed about it. SP Nilambari Jagdale, and a crime branch team reached the spot and started the investigation.

The police have seized the mobile phones of the deceased and are engaged in questioning with the occupant and the landlord.
