South Koreans are fighting yet another battle against the deadly Corona Virus.

At least 91 South Koreans who recovered from coronavirus have tested positive again.

Jeong Eun-kyeong, director of Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), said that the virus may have been “reactivated” rather than the people being re-infected. This eesentially means that the virus did not fully die in the host but for sometime became inactive. However, it again got life after sometime. South Korean health officials said it remains unclear what is behind the trend, with epidemiological investigations still under way. The prospect of the virus re-infecting people is of international concern. About 7,000 South Koreans have been infected with COVID-19 till now.
