The Hush Post: It’s official now. After many speculations, it has been confirmed now that Hollywood actor Daniel Craig will make a comeback as James Bond for his fifth and final 007film.
The Hollywood actor who reportedly earned 37 million pounds for his last Bond film “Spectre”, is all set to get a mammoth pay package for his role as the popular MI6 agent in the 25th installment of the world-famous franchise, a report said.
As per a report in Mirror newspaper, Daniel Craig will get a fat package of 50 million pounds for the new movie. The film is likely to run for around two hours and 20 minutes. It means Craig will be banking 3,57,000 pounds per minute of screen time. The actor will start five months of filming in December, ahead of its release that has been planned in next year’s autumn, , the report said.
It was further reported that Danny Boyle, the 2009 Oscar-winning best director for movie “Slumdog Millionaire”, will direct the series’ latest installment.
“We are delighted to announce that the exceptionally talented Danny Boyle will be directing Daniel Craig in his fifth outing as James Bond. We will begin shooting Bond 25 at Pinewood Studios in December with our partners at MGM and are thrilled that Universal will be our international distributor,” Eon’s Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement.
