Actress Deepika Padukone visited the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus to express solidarity with the students. These are the same students who were beaten up on Sunday amid mob attack on the campus.
In one of the photos, she can be seen folding hands in front of Aishe Ghosh, the JNU president who was beaten up in the attack.

Protests continue across the country against Sunday’s mob attack at the Jawaharlal University. A group of masked goons barged into the university on Sunday and attacked several students and teachers, went on a rampage, injuring 34 people.
Students across the nation are protesting against the unprecedented violence at the varsity.
In Mumbai, a group of students who were protesting since Sunday night at the iconic Gateway of India were forcibly moved today to Azad Maiadan, about 2 km away.
Visuals showed protesters being dragged. The protest has now been called off.
On Monday, prominent faces from Bollywood gathered at Carter Road to register their resistance.
