A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death in South Delhi inside a restaurant on Thursday. The incident took place in ‘Nukkadwala restaurant ‘ located near PVR Anupam in Saket at around 6:00 pm.
Hemant was stabbed in the chest. According to the police, he was rushed to Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital in Malviya Nagar, but was declared brought dead by doctors. “The police are not telling anything at the moment. However, we feel that somebody from the restaurant staff has killed my son,” said Hemant’s father Pradeep.
The police officials are investigating the matter. Initial investigations revealed that Hemant was working along with three others at the restaurant, said senior police officer Vijay Kumar.
Forensic and crime teams were called on the spot. Meanwhile, Hemant’s friends were also questioned by the police.
According to the report, Hemant’s brother Jugnu said that there are several CCTV cameras in the locality and also inside the restaurant. He said that the killers should be identified soon.
Two days before, a 23-year-old man was stabbed to death by a group of men in Shalimar Bagh in North West Delhi after a petty fight. The accused were identified and arrested.
