Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have finally reached an alliance in Delhi. Out of a total of seven seats, AAP will fight in the 4 seats while 3 will go to the Congress.

Congress wants to fight from Chandni Chowk, New Delhi and North-West Delhi. Aam Aadmi Pary wants to fight from South Delhi, West Delhi, North-East Delhi, East Delhi.

The alliance happened after Rahul Gandhi asked Congress observers as to how many seats can the party win without an alliance? In response to this, the observers said that an alliance would definitely guarantee Congress a minimum of three seats. At this Sheila Dixit who was also asked by Rahul Gandhi, if she also thought so.
