Former Home Minister P Chidambaram has been granted bail in the INX Media case.
Chidambaram got bail after 105 days of imprisonment.
The Supreme Court has said that he cannot make any public statements regarding the case.
He was released on the bail bond of Rs 2 lakh and two sureties.
The argument against Chidambaram was that he could influence the witnesses and influence the case, however, the SC asked to clarify how he could influence the case.
The SC was also critical of the Delhi High Court order. It said that they shouldn’t have gone into the merits of the case at the time of granting bail.
