The Hush Post: After all what do you get for Rs five! Well A Coca Cola product. Coca-Cola has launched two new products that will help in re-hydration and will contain nutritious elements.
The company has come up with a fruit juice priced as low as Rs 5 per bottle. Aquarius Glucocharge is priced at Rs 10 per 200 ml and a Minute Maid Vitingo, a dilutable sachet priced at Rs 5 per 18 grams. This product will be sold at medical stores across the country.
Both the drinks are being manufactured to address the issues of micronutrient deficiency and malnutrition in India.
“While Minute Maid Vitingo aims to be a part of the solution to malnutrition that the country is solving for, we are equally committed to making AQUARIUS GLUCOCHARGE a mass distributed brand in the next eight months.”said T Krishnakumar, President,Coca-Cola India and South West Asia. The company also committed that Vitingo will be giving a tough competition to Kraft Heinz’s Glucon-D and Dabur India’s Glucose-D.
The company is also planning to re-enter the dairy segments by the end of the year, though its ready-to-drink flavoured milk Vio was not successful.
