Delhi man brutally killed with 100 stabs; missing tenant under police scanner

The Hush Post: The Delhi Police have started searching for a missing tenant for the mysterious murder of a Delhi-based man who was brutally killed with 100 stabbings three days ago.

The deceased has been identified as a 32-year-old man Umesh, a resident of Jahangirpuri locality in Delhi. A tenant, who was staying in the upper portion of the house, is reportedly absconding and the police suspect the crime to be the handiwork of him. The police have started searching for the absconding tenant, a report said.

The police were informed by one of the friends of deceased Umesh. The friend reported the matter to the police after finding Umesh’s body in a pool of blood. The victim had died on the spot, the report said.

According to the police, deceased Umesh was living alone on the ground floor of the house. His wife along with their two kids had reportedly gone to Uttar Pradesh. Umesh’s wife had reportedly gone to her parents’ house, for the summer vacation. A 28-year-old man along with his family was staying in the upper portion, second floor of the house, as a tenant.
