Accused Amarnath suspected that his neighbour Chander had an illicit relationship with his wife who was not happy with their marriage
The Hush Post: A man bludgeoned his neighbour to death suspecting that latter had an illicit relationship with his wife. The incident occurred in the Swaroop Nagar locality of Northwest Delhi.
Accused Amarnath suspected that his 37-year-old neighbour Manak Chander had an illicit relationship with his wife. The deceased Manak Chander was a tailor at a shop in Swaroop Nagar. Amarnath allegedly stoned Manak Chander to death over this suspicion. The incident occurred on Thursday night, a report said.
The police said Amarnanth’s wife not happy with their marriage. She had a strained relationship with Amarnath. She alleged Amarnath used to torture her and had stopped giving her money for household expenses, the police said.
As per police, Amarnath’s wife left his house as she got fed up of his constant torture. And then she started living with Chander, the police said.
An irate Amarnath went to question Chander and allegedly attacked him with stones outside his house.
People took an injured Chander to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead, the police.
The police have arrested Amarnath after registering an FIR against him.
