The Hush Post: It was a miraculous escape for a 21-year-old youth who tried to cross over the tracks of Metro rail at Shastri Nagar Metro Station in New Delhi. An alert Metro driver timely applied the brakes to stop the train and save the youth.
The youth has been identified as a 21-year-old Mayur Patel. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera. The CCTV footage shows Mayur Patel trying to cross the tracks of Metro rail. As he tried to climb up the Metro platform on the other side, the Metro, that was stationary till then, suddenly started moving. The youth was about to fall on the track as he fumbled to climb up the platform. An alert Metro driver timely applied the brakes to stop the train and thus Patel was saved, a report said.
Mayur Patel was later fined for his act of trying to cross the Metro track. When questioned by the Delhi Police, Mayur expressed his ignorance by saying that he did not know how to go on the other side of platform thus he attempted to cross over the Metro tracks.
