In a shocking incident in Delhi an eight-year-old boy killed a toddler to take revenge against toddler’s elder sister.
According to the police, they were informed on Saturday morning that a child had gone missing from his house in South Delhi’s Fatehpuri Beri. During primary investigation, they found that the missing child was one-and-half-year old and was sleeping with his mother and sister on the roof of his house at Madi village on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday and had gone missing from there between 1 am and 4 am.
The police found during further investigations that another boy was also missing, who was a tenant in a neighbouring house.
According to a senior police officer they found the toddler’s body from a drain near the house. The body carried injuries on the right eye, abdomen and leg.
The police said that the eight-year-old accused boy who was missing too was traced on Saturday morning and was found involved in the killing.
Police added that the families of toddler and the accused boy used to live in rented accommodations.
The accused boy bore a grudge against the toddler’s elder sister who had hit his younger brother a few days ago due to which the accused boy’s brother fell down on the floor, leading to a minor swelling on his head.
A case has been registered at Fatehpuri Beri police station.
The accused boy now will be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.
