In a shocking incident the former chairman and MD of Fortis Healthcare, Malvinder has accused younger brother Shivender Mohan of badly injuring him in a scuffle. The fight was a result of a family feud.

However, Shivender Mohan has denied the allegations. On the contrary, he has said that it was Malvinder who beat him.

The incident allegedly took place at 55 Hanuman Road. A board meeting was on in which the next course of action was to be taken over the Rs 2,000 crore lent to Prius Real Estate.

Prius Real Estate is owned by Gurinder Singh Dhillon. When the meeting was on, he (Shivender) interjected, according to Malvinder and started fighting, pushing and shoving.

Shivender on his part denied the claims. He said that he even went to the police station to register a complaint. However, his uncle and mother dissuaded him from doing so.

Malvinder went to Ram Manohar Lohia for treatment. He said that the doctors had told him he had internal injuries and also needed to wear a cast.

In September Shivender had withdrawn a petition in National Law Tribunal Board NLTB against Malvinder. However, he had kept the option of going back if the outstanding payments between the two, including the payments to Daiichi were not resolved.
