A 52-year-old wife of a former Indian Air Force wing Commander was found dead at her house in Dwarka. The police found out on Saturday when they received a phone call at 9 am. The deceased has been identified as Neenu Jain.
According to the senior police officials, the father of the deceased called her on Thursday night to ask about her health. However, he wanted to visit her as she was unwell but she refused.
On Friday morning, he called Neenu but she didn’t answer his phone call. Thereafter, her father and her brother came to see her but noticed that the main gate of the house was locked from the outside. They entered through the neighbor’s side and saw that Neenu Jain was lying unconsciously on the floor.
They immediately called the police and rushed lady to the hospital where she was declared brought dead.
According to the police, a mobile phone, some cash and jewelry was found missing. Following the same, a case is registered under sections 302 (murder) and 392 (robbery) of Indian Penal Code. The investigation is initiated, yet the cause of death is still unknown.
It was a moment of extreme grief and shock for the whole family.
Neenu’s husband is a retired IAF wing Commander, currently working with IndiGo as a commercial pilot. The couple has a son working in an MNC in Noida and a daughter as well practicing as a doctor in Goa.
