Know what’s costly and what’s cheap after the 2019 union budget

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the union budget 2019 of the newly elected NDA government.

Petrol, diesel, gold, silver, cigarettes and many other items will become more expensive due to the hike in the taxes. However, certain items including electric vehicles, electronic vehicles, and set-top boxes will become cheaper.

Following is the list of the things which will be costly and also those which will be cheaper.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Nirmala Sitharaman presented a budget for “new India, which laid the foundation for a progressive nation, the rise of which was powered by 130 crore countrymen.

On the other hand, Congress’ chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala criticized the budget. He tweeted “#Budget2019 so far—Maximum Intent, Minimum Content! Maximum Catchphrases, Minimum Catchpoints!”
