The elections for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls will be held in seven phases, the Election Commission of India has announced. This is how various states and UTs will go to the polls in seven different phases.

Phase 1

The elections to the following states will be held for phase one on April 11. These are  (Andhra Pradesh 25 seats, Arunachal 2, Assam 5, Meghalaya 1, Manipur 1, Mizoram 1, Odisha 4, Bengal 2, Chhatisgarh 1, J&K 2, Odisha 4, Sikkim 1, Uttarakhand 5 Lakshadweep 1, Andaman 1, Nagaland 1).

Phase 2

The election date for phase two is April 18 (Assam 5 seats, Puducherry 1, Bihar 5, Tripura 1, UP 8, Manipur 1, Tamil Nadu 39, West Bengal 3, Karnataka 14, Maharashtra 10, Odisha 5, UP 8).

Phase 3

The election date for phase three is 23 April (Assam 4, Karnataka 14, UP 10, Bengal 5, Kerala 20, Maharashtra 14, Odisha 6, Bengal 5, Daman and Diu 1,  Chhatisgarh 7, Gujarat 26, Goa 2).

Phase 4

The election date for phase four is April 29 (Bihar 5, Maharashtra 17, UP 13, Bengal 8, J&K 1, MP 6, Jharkhand 3, Odisha 6, Rajasthan 13).

Phase 5

The election date for phase five is May 6 (J&K 2, UP 14, Bengal 7, Bihar 8, Rajasthan 12).

Phase 6

The election date for phase six is May 12 (Bihar 8, MP 8, UP 14, Delhi 7 seats, Haryana 10, Jharkhand 4).

Phase 7

The election date for phase seven is May 19 (UP 13, Bihar 4, Jharkhand 3, Bengal 9, Punjab 13 seats, HP 4 seats, Chandigarh 1 seat).
