The Hush Post: This selfie was meant to be a happy memory forever but it would haunt them throughout their lives. A teenager student of class 11 killed his cousin accidentally while posing with a pistol and clicking a selfie. The victim was a 23-year-old youth.
The incident that occurred in southeast Delhi’s Sarita Vihar on Thursday was reported by Zee Media on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Prashant Chauhan while his cousin is a 17-year-old boy. It was on Thursday that Chauhan visited his uncle’s house in Delhi’s Sarita Vihar locality.
It was then that the 17-year-old boy managed to get a firearm of his father and he asked his cousin Chauhan to click a selfie of him while holding the weapon. While Chauhan was doing so, the firearm reportedly went-off and a bullet hit Chauhan, police sources said.
Chauhan was immediately taken to a hospital in a critical condition but the doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Police sources said that minor boy’s father, a property dealer by profession, was not at home when the incident took place. The police are investigating whether there was any negligence on the part of boy’s father.
