The Hush Post: The final day to deliver the product after putting in immense hard work for a year or two has come. With 20 students vying for every seat on an average, more than 1.33 million students across the country will vie for 66,000 medical and dental seats when the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is held today.

The exam will begin at 10:00 am and end at 1:00 pm. The candidates have to reach the exam hall at the reporting time, as mentioned in the admit card. There are two slots for reporting, from 7:30 am to 8:30 am and 8:30 am to 9:30 am. After the lapse of the reporting time, the permission to enter exam hall shall not be granted.

The answer key for NEET 2018 will be available on the official portal. The result will be announced on June 5. NEET is conducted every year for admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses.

NEET was first introduced in May 2013 and was quickly scrapped in 2014, allowing states to introduce their separate exams for medical and dental institutes.

In 2016, the Supreme Court reintroduced NEET, making it the single window entrance exam for admission to all medical and dental institutes in the country.
