The Hush Post: A neighbour allegedly inserted a water pipe in the private part of a minor girl and raped her. The shocking Incident took place in Seemapuri area of Shahdara of Delhi where a neighbour raped a 7-year-old girl.
The police said on Tuesday that the incident took place on Monday night. In her statement, the victim’s mother said that a neighbour raped her daughter. The accused took the girl with him as she was playing outside her residence at around 10.30 pm on Monday. The accused took her to the bushes near the DLF Chowk and raped her, a report said.
After the rape, the victim started bleeding and then she came back home. At home, the victim told her mother about the incident. On a complaint of the victim’s mother, the Seemapuri police registered an FIR. The FIR includes offence under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the report said.
Meanwhile, Swati Maliwal, Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chairperson has tweeted about the incident. Maliwal tweeted that the accused inserted a water pipe into her private parts and then raped her. But, the police said as per the lady doctor who examined the victim, her condition is stable. The police said as per the doctor, no foreign object was inserted into her private parts.
The doctor reportedly said the excess bleeding was due to an injury in her private parts. The victim was hospitalised in the Guru Teg Bahadur hospital. The police arrested the accused, who is a ragpicker, on Monday itself. The DCW said it will file an application seeking compensation for the rape survivor.
“Cannot describe the pain the little girl was experiencing. Already malnourished, she has a long struggle ahead. We are going to support her in her legal fight to ensure death penalty to her culprits. Will file compensation application & shall make all efforts to rehabilitate her (sic),” a tweet by Maliwal reads.
