The dog owner picked up a fight with the victim after latter’s tempo accidentally touched the canine

The Hush Post: Not saying sorry to a dog proved fatal for a man as the dog owner killed him.

The cause of this incident was that the victim’s tempo had brushed past a black Labrador dog. The dog owner and his accomplices stabbed him with knives and screwdriver as he didn’t say sorry to the dog. The shocking incident occurred in the Uttam Nagar locality of Delhi on Saturday, a report said.

The victim, Vijender Rana (40), was a tempo driver.

“Vijender Rana’s tempo accidentally touched a dog and the owner picked a fight with him,” a police officer said. He added that the dog owner called others also on the spot.

The police said that Ankit and Paras (both brothers) and their tenant Dev Chopra are prime suspects in this incident. As per police, both the parties were drunk, which aggravated the situation, the report said.

The victim’s son called the police to sort out the brawl. By then, the accused had stabbed Rana. People took him to Mata Roop Rani Maggo Hospital doctors declared him brought dead. Rana’s elder brother Rajesh, who was also involved in the tussle, sustained injuries.

“The three accused are absconding and the police are on the job to nab them,” a cop said. He added that the police have lodged an FIR against them under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
