The Hush Post: A fight over a mobile phone between siblings claimed the life of a teenage boy in Delhi. A 17-year-old Gulshan shot himself dead after a fight with sister and smashed her mobile phone on Sunday.

The incident occurred in Dwarka’s Bindapur area in Delhi. According to the police, the teenager shot himself dead with a country-made pistol, a report said.

The hospital authorities informed the police in the early morning. The family rushed the injured boy to a hospital. The doctors declared him brought dead, the cops said. The police added that the boy had sustained a gunshot injury. The cops suspect that the bullet was fired from a very close range. The police also found four live cartridges in the pocket of the deceased, the report said.

Ranbir Singh, the father of Gulshan, told the doctor that he had injured himself. The deceased’s father told the police that he arrived in the morning and rang the doorbell. When he opened the door, his son was lying in a pool of blood, the report said.

The boy was reportedly angry with his sister over a mobile phone. He had smashed her phone before leaving home on Saturday night, Ranbir Singh told the police. The police have seized the pistol with which the boy shot himself. The cops added that the pistol loaded with two rounds.

Gulshan’s uncle had picked up the weapon as he felt it could be mishandled by someone after the incident. Later, he handed it over to the police. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter, the report said.
