The Hush Post: The controversial Union textile minister Smriti Irani visited her home where she used to live on rent 35 years ago.
And it was TV producer Ekta Kapoor who roped her in as a part of her promotions for her new web series Home, which streams on ALTBalaji.
Ekta Instagrammed three emotional videos of Smriti Irani from her visit to her first home in Gurugram.
The videos show Smriti Irani walking up to the society and meeting the residents, some of whom she recognised. She got extremely emotional, teary-eyed. She reached her old home but when she saw her old home converted into a shop she was in tears.
“It is painful, tough and courageous to see a place you once called ‘Home’, now no longer is there. But life is nothing more than a journey of bitter-sweet memories,” Ekta captioned one of her posts.
Smriti Irani also took a rickshaw ride to her favourite chaat shop and visited an old provision store, her father visited.
Let’s take a tour of Smriti Irani’s old home.
Ekta Kapoor had launched Smriti Irani in her one of the successful shows Kyunki…Saas bhi kabhi bahu in which she played Tulsi. Now Smriti is married to businessman Zubin Irani.
