Apart from medical and engineering, the coaching will also be provided for UGC-NET, management and pharma entrance exams.
As per a report, the government has decided to convert nearly 3,000 test practice centres into teaching centres next year onwards across the country. These centres will conduct mock tests and will give free coaching to students for higher education entrance exams. It will help the students get used to the new pattern of competitive entrance examinations. According to a report, these centres will start functioning from September 8, but free coaching facility is expected to begin from May next year. Students can start registration for practice centres September 1 onwards.
From next year, these centres will turn into teaching centres and the move will help those aspirants who cannot afford the fees of private coaching classes. “They will not charge any fees. It will be especially helpful for talented students from sections where aspirations are high but private coaching is impossible due to financial constraints,” the official said.
