Super 30 founder Anand Kumar to give IIT coaching classes to government school students in Delhi

Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia today said that Anand Kumar, the founder of Super 30 programme, had agreed to conduct one class in a month for the students of government schools in Delhi. Under ‘Super 30’ programme Anand Kumar coaches the underprivileged children for IIT entrance examinations.

Manish Sisodia tweeted, “Am happy to share that Anand Kumar has agreed to conduct one class every month for Delhi Government School students. This will be an online, virtual classroom for class 11, 12 students of our schools.”

The announcement came after Anand Kumar met the students at a government school today.

In a video posted on Aam Aadmi Party’s Twitter account, Anand Kumar said, “My education also took place in a government school. Slowly the gap between a government school and private school is widening. Poor students are finding it difficult. But I am very happy today to see that government schools are becoming equal. It is nice to see smiles on the faces of the students and a desire to learn.”

Manish Sisodia also announced “tax-free status” for Hrithik Roshan starrer movie ‘Super 30’ which is based on Anand Kumar’s life. Kumar thanked Anand Kumar for his kind gesture.
