Nine men in Noida allegedly raped three sex workers at a farmhouse after picking them up from Delhi. The police informed that a complaint was made on Wednesday regarding the same and seven men were arrested. Most of the accused are private security guards whereas one among them is a cab driver.
The complainant and two of her friends informed that on Tuesday night, they were waiting for a client at Lajpat Nagar Metro Station, Delhi when two men reached out to them in Ola Cab around 11:30 pm.
Gautam Buddh Nagar SSP Vaibhav Krishna said, “A deal was struck between them at Rs 3,000 per client. The women were told that they would have to go to Noida, Sector 18 and there would be two more men along with duo. Rs 32,000 was paid to them in advance.”
But the men took women to a farmhouse in Noida sector 135 where seven more men joined them. Also, the women told the men in the cab that they were not interested and wanted to go back to Delhi.
Giving further information, Krishna said, “They were then raped by the men. Later on their plea, one of the accused dropped them near the main road from where they contacted emergency police number 100 at 5 AM and the matter came to light.”
A case was lodged under Indian Penal Code sections 376D (Gang rape), and 323 (Voluntarily causing hurt). Also, the women alleged that the accused men thrashed them and forcibly took back the money which was paid earlier.
The arrested men have been identified as Akhilesh Yadav, Lovlesh Yadav, Bhola Yadav, Anjan Yadav and Rajesh Yadav of Rae Bareli, Satish Pal of Hardoi and Rajkumar Maurya of Shahjahanpur.
The cab driver Mulayam Singh and Pankaj are absconding. Lovlesh worked as a security guard of the farmhouse where the crime happened. The farmhouse belongs to an officer in the Motor Transport Department in Delhi.
Krishna said, “The farmhouse has been sealed under CrPC section 102 (power of police officer to seize certain property).”
