UPSC Civil Services 2018 online application process for 2018 exams ends tomorrow

The Hush Post: This is as per the CSE 2018 notification released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on February 7. UPSC has also released the Indian Forest Services examinations notification along with the CSE notification. According to the notification, UPSC preliminary exam will be conducted on June 3, 2018.

This year UPSC proposes to fill approximately 782 vacancies which include 32 vacancies reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category.

The CSE is in two parts a Preliminary or Prelims examination followed by a Main examination. This is  a competitive examination held every year by the UPSC, a constitutional authority under Article 320 of the Constitution of India.

Successful candidates are recruited to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and among other non-technical Civil Services, as per their merit.

How to Apply

Candidates are required to apply online for UPSC CSE by using the website Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the website. Brief Instructions for filling up the “Online Application Form” are given here:

Step one: Go to UPSC official application website:

Step two: The candidates will be provided two registration links there

Step three: Fill all the required details and upload required documents and submit.

The application process will not be complete without application fee payment. Application fee can be submitted via Credit card/debit card/Internet banking.

The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for admission to examination.
