On Monday, Yoga Guru Ramdev launched Patanjali Paridhan. It is a store with a range of apparels and accessories. The first apparel store has come up in Delhi’s Netaji Subhas Place on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras.

Patanjali Paridhan will offer apparel for men, women, and children under the brands Livefit, Aastha and Sanskar. From denim and casual wear to ethnic and formals, it promises to offer around 3,000 products. Baba Ramdev said, “Like Khadi led to the freedom struggle of the country, the Patanjali Paridhan will be the carrier of new revolution of economic independence in the country. Clothing is not just a commodity. It is a statement of self-respect, pride, personality and identity which can never be compromised in life”.

Patanjali Paridhan will offer 25 per cent discount on its products in the coming five days. Spokesperson of Patanjali Ayurved Limited, SK Tijarawala, tweeted:

He said, “From coat to langot (loincloth), jeans to kurta-pyjamas and sarees, every attire of the Indian culture will be available here.” Ramdev said the aim is to make people of India get rid of foreign products and shift to `Swadeshi` (Made in India) goods manufactured by Patanjali.” As per a report, the company is planning to open around 100 stores across metros as well as smaller cities.
