Padma Bhushan announced for Dhoni, ‘India’ Jonty Rhodes’ daughter gives him cricketing tips on flight

The Hush Post: When one of the highest honours the Padma Bhushan was being announced for Indian cricketing superstar Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Friday, he was getting a few tips from former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes’ two kids India and Nathan who were travelling to their home country along with the soon to be Padma Bhushan awardee. Dhoni was also going to South Africa  to join his teammates for the six-match One-Day Internationals (ODI) series. Former India cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been conferred the country’s third highest civilian award the Padma Bhushan.

Taking to Twitter, Rhodes shared a picture of Dhoni – who was seen holding his son Nathan – with a caption: “There are always feelings of concern when family leaves after 2 incredible months together, but I need not have feared; as they were in safe hands @msdhoni getting some advice from India and Nathan Jon on how to play in SA – he told them “mujhe pata hai” #SAvIND dhanyavaad Mahi”.

Given India’s continuous losses in the test match series, Dhoni surely needed some tips to return to the winning ways in the ODI series beginning from  February 1. Rhodes, the fielding guru of all times, had caught many a hearts off guard when he had named his daughter ‘India’, who was also born in India.
