The dangler is out for Jannayak Janta Party’s Dushyant Chautala. He is about to be chased by both Congress and possibly even by the BJP for the chief minister’s position. The big question is who will he side with?
Sources say that Sonia Gandhi has given free hand to the two time CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda to negotiate with Dushyant Chautala.
Congress is likely to offer JJP’s Dushyant Chautala the chief minister’s post in Haryana. Sources say that the possibility of Dushyant being pulled in two opposite sides directions is emerging fast. Bharatiya Janta Party, which is already ahead on 38 seats is also likely to entice Dushyant and possibly with a CM’s post.
So Dushyant is in a win-win situation.
The latest seats tally in Haryana is that BJP is ahead in 38 seats, Congress is ahead in 30 seats, JJP has 11 seats while others are ahead in seven seats.
About 50 per cent votes have already been counted. The half-way mark in Haryana assembly is 46 seats in an assembly of 90 seats.
In Maharashtra though, BJP-Shiv Sena alliance is clearly ahead on 159 setas (BJP 98 and SS 61).Congress and NCP are ahead on 92 seats (Congress in 40 and NCP in 52).
