The Hush Post: The wait of students, who had appeared for Class XII board exams conducted by the CBSE, as well as their parents is over. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare its Class XII result on Saturday on their website http://www.cbseresults.nic.in, Education Secretary Anil Swarup tweeted.
The CBSE will also provide Class XII digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in, which can be accessed on mobile phones on Android and iOS platforms.
Another add-on this year is that students will also be able to check their results on Google. “CBSE has partnered with Google for the first time to host the board’s Class 10 and Class 12 results on the search engine,” the board’s spokesperson Rama Sharma said in a report. This year, students will be able to check their results on Google by searching for CBSE Class 12 result. They will have to key in the required details to login and check their results.
Simple steps to check CBSE XII exam results 2018:
- Visit CBSE results website at http://cbseresults.nic.in/#
- Click on the link for result 2018
- Key in the details as required on the login page that opens
- Result will be displayed on screen
- Download the result and take a print out
The date for releasing the Class X results is yet to be announced.
The post-result CBSE counselling will begin from May 26 and continue till June 9 from 8 am to 10 pm on all days. CBSE provides counselling services to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and general queries related to Class X and XII results.
The exams for Class XII this year were in the eye of a storm as re-examination had to be conducted for a few subjects due to reports of paper leakage. Students had a difficult time as exams for some subjects were re-scheduled for the re-test.
