The Hush Post: Admissions to undergraduate courses in Delhi University for the new academic session begin next week with no separate registration for entrance-based undergraduate programmes. Aspirants can register through the centralised admission portal for all courses, a novelty this year round. You can logon to the website www.sarvgyan.com for all admission related query in Delhi University. Registration for admissions through entrance tests will be done online only.
The registration for the entrance-based programmes would get over by the third week of May. The dates for the entrance exam are likely to be declared by the first week of May, a DU official told a national daily. The first cut-off is likely to come out in the second week of June.
The single-point registration will ensure that all the data are centrally located and the admission committee has access to them at one place. The admission portal will also allow the committee to track the number of seats filled and withdrawals in real time.
Earlier, the entrance-based undergraduate courses usually had a separate registration process that started from the first week of April.
Registration process for merit-based courses will also start as the education boards across the country will soon start declaring their results, and will continue up till June.
