Baahubali 2 takes China Box Office by storm; beats Bajarangi Bhaijaan, Dangal in opening day collections


SS Rajamouli directed movie Baahubali 2 collected $2.89 million on the first day of its release in China

Jasnoor Kaur, The Hush Post, “Baahubali: The Conclusion” has been successful at the box office again. The movie released in China on 4th May and took over the box office like a giant wave. It was released in 7000 screens, more than the domestic sports drama Dangal. It earned $2.89 on the first day, becoming the part of the three leading Indian films with the highest box office return in China. Other than Baahubali 2, Hindi Medium and Secret Superstar are the two movies which received a large opening on the first day.

Baahubali 2 is assumed to rupture many box office records and leave behind the record-breaking Indian movies in the Chinese film market. Baahabuli 2 released in Japan quite some time ago and received an amazing feedback from the public there. All the seats were full in the movie theatres in the first week and the box office return was approximately $4.56 million. With such brilliant box office collections, Baahubali 2 will be the first Telugu film to have such a phenomenal run in the international film market including UAE, North America, UK and South Asia.

Baahubali is one of the greatest films in the Indian film industry in terms of collections, with the box office return of more than Rs.1700 crores in India and an identical number from across the globe. Baahubali has made Indian film industry proud by getting recognition in the International film festivals and many other forums.

Rajamouli was summoned to Pakistan International Film Festival and the director was in attendance for the event. He was summoned there because of success of Baahubali which has now gained popularity worldwide.
