Actress Sonali Bendre is inspiring not only cancer patients but everyone with her positive attitude. Ever since she announced that she is suffering from a high-grade metastatic cancer, she has become a role model for many.

Sonali is inspiring millions with her regular Instagram posts. She inspires people with her positive attitude, determination, and optimism towards life, a report said.

The Bollywood actress is presently undergoing cancer treatment at Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, US. Her husband, Goldie Behl and son, Ranveer Behl make sure to make frequent visits to her. Sonali’s friends, Sussanne Khan, Gayatri Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher also keep visiting her. They are the exemplars of the phrase, ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’!

On October 9, 2018, Sonali shared a photo of herself applying kohl to her eyes and flaunting her beautiful look. Sonali shared with it her journey of cancer, with the good and bad days. She wrote, “I knew that if I allowed fear to overtake me, my journey was doomed. Fear, to a great extent, is born of a story we tell ourselves, and so I chose to tell myself a different story from the one women are told. I decided I was safe. I was brave. Nothing could vanquish me.” – Cheryl Strayed, Wild.”

Sharing how even a laugh had started hurting her, Sonali added, “Over the past couple of months, I have had good days and bad ones. There have been days when I’ve been so exhausted and in so much pain that even lifting a finger hurt. I feel like sometimes it’s a cycle… one that starts off with physical pain and leads to mental and emotional pain. The bad days have been many… Post chemo, post-surgery and the like… where even just laughing hurts.”
