The Hush Post: England Women’s team cricketer Danielle Wyatt, who was in headlines in India for her ‘Kholi marry me!!!’ tweet, inadvertent spelling faux pas in her tweet, on Monday congratulated Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
“Congratulations @imVkohli & @AnushkaSharma,” Danielle tweeted as stars from the world of Bollywood and cricket were quick to congratulate the new husband and wife. And then some of Virat and Anushka fans retweeted over 1.2k times. One of them tweeted, ‘Gotta feel for you dani.’ Another one tweeted: ‘You will remain our bhabhi forever dani.’
Wyatt stole headlines, when in 2014 Kohli made 72-run knock against South Africa in the World Twenty20, and Danielle tweeted ‘Kholi marry me!!!’ Danielle met the batting superstar during India’s tour of England later that year. Wyatt was also part of England’s World Cup winning squad, which beat India’s Women’s team by nine runs in a mouthwatering contest at Lords.
Born on 22 April 1991 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Wyatt is a right-handed middle order batter and off break bowler. Wyatt plays for Staffordshire Ladies and Meir Heath Women in the Northern Premier League having moved from Gunnersbury in 2012 season.
