The Hush Post: A fire broke out in a garment factory at Bajwanagar, Ludhiana today morning. Five fire tenders were pressed into service immediately. The cause of fire, which leapt up on the first and second floors could not be ascertained. The nearby factory units had to be vacated as the smoke and fire started spreading. No casualty was reported and there was no estimate about the financial loss as a result of this fire.
Three days ago, here was another fire at new Sabzi Mandi Jalandhar bypass in Ludhiana in which 25,000 vegetable crates leapt up in flames. Fortunately, there too no loss of life was reported, though, an estimated Rs 10 lakh was the financial loss which happened as a result of that fire.
