The Hush Post: Irrfan Khan is suffering from neuroendocrine tumour. He has revealed this today. Neuroendocrine tumours are neoplasms that come from cells of the endocrine (hormonal) and nervous system. It does respond to treatment though not in terminally ill patients.
Last week, he disclosed that he was suffering from a ‘rare disease’ that had left the whole nation and his fans in shock and disbelief. The actor, had then committed to share information after ‘conclusive diagnosis’. The actor took to Twitter handle to reveal what he was suffering from.
The actor, though, clarified in the post that contrary to the rumours that were floating around, ‘NEURO’ is not always about the brain.
Towards the end he writes, “To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”
Irrfan Khan’s latest film ‘Blackmail’ is set to release on April 6. The film’s latest number ‘patola’ is creating ripples in the music world. Irffan Khan, 51, has acted in more than 100 films, including Bollywood hits Piku, Maqbool, Haasil and Paan Singh Tomar. His English language films include Life Of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire and The Amazing Spider-Man.
