The Hush Post: Teaser of Sacred Games of Netflix featuring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte was released on Friday. The gripping teaser can leave anyone asking for more, India Today reported.
The one-minute-long teaser is intense, dark and gripping. In the start Nawazuddin Siddiqui is shown talking to himself and saying: “Sometimes I think I am God.” Soon the big bad world of bloodshed, dance bars, money and tough guy Saif Ali Khan take over. And towards the end Nawaz can be seen questioning once again—“Do you believe in god.”
Sacred Games focuses on Sartaj Singh played by Saif Ali Khan, a seasoned and cynical Mumbai Police officer, summoned by an anonymous tip one morning by a voice which promises him an opportunity to capture the powerful Ganesh Gaitonde, criminal overlord of the G-Company. As the stakes mount and Sartaj seeks knowledge of his prey, it becomes clear that the game the two players thought they were engaged in is in fact part of a much larger scenario, one that expands beyond their city.
The show that has been produced by Phantom Films is based in and shot in India. It is based on the critically-acclaimed best-selling novel of the same name by author Vikram Chandra. It is co-directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, both acclaimed names in Indian cinema.
