Primary investigations suggest the victim didn’t recover after the first aid and was rushed by the accused to another RMP doct who refused to treat her then
The Hush Post: The accused in the CBSE topper gangrape case had taken help from a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) after her health deteriorated at the crime scene. According to the FIR in the case, the three had given the victim a drug-laced drink before gang-raping her.
News 18 reported that the girl was raped in an unconscious state. She was again made to drink the drug-laced water when she became consciousness. But her condition deteriorated again, the accused called an RMP to the fields under the pretext that a labourer was ill. When the doctor saw the girl, he refused to treat her. However, the accused threatened to kill him. The RMP doctor then provided her first aid.
The victim didn’t recover after the first aid. Then she was rushed by the accused to another RMP doctor. But he refused to treat her. Subsequently, two of the accused left and the third, Manish, took her to Kanina Bus Stand. The condition of the girl deteriorating, she fell unconscious on the ground. A confused Manish had then called up her father, the FIR mentions.
Meanwhile, Haryana DGP BS Sandhu today visited the crime spot. The SIT probing the case today released the photographs of the accused. One of them, Pankaj is reported to be working with an Army unit in Rajasthan and was supposed to join back duty on Saturday. He is also said to have been trained in Kabaddi by the victim’s father who is a Physical Training Instructor (PTI).
The accused are still at large and a reward of Rs 1 lakh has been announced for anyone giving information on the culprits. All the three are from the victim’s village.
The National Commission for Women has also taken a suo-motu notice of the case.
The 19-year-old girl was kidnapped and gangraped in Kanina, Mahendragarh district of Haryana on Wednesday.
