Dushyant Chautala has also been removed as the legislature party leader of the INLD

The Hush Post: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) president Om Prakash Chautala today expelled both his grandsons- Dushyant and Digvijay from the party. Both the brothers have been found guilty of ‘indiscipline’ by the party’s disciplinary committee. Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala has also been removed as the legislature party leader of the INLD.

In a press release issued here today, INLD said that both the brothers had indulged in ‘gross indiscipline’ and ‘hooliganism’ on the October 7 rally in Gohana.  The party had then taken a serious note against the brothers and suspended from the primary membership of the party.

Both the brothers had opened up a front against their uncle and Leader of Opposition in Haryana, Abhay Chautala. During the Gohana rally Dushyant and Digvijay’s supporters had raised slogans in their support. They had even interrupted OP and Abhay Chautala when they rose to speak.

“No external evidence was required into the matter”, stated the release, “since the INLD chief was himself present on the occasion”. “But still the matter was referred to the disciplinary committee which has found both of them guilty,” the release stated.

It further said, “It was a tough decision for Om Prakash Chautala as Dushyant and Digvijay were a part of the family…, but the party is above an individual.”

Om Prakash Chautala and his son Ajay Chautala are serving jail term in Tihar jail in the teacher recruitment scam. The veteran leader had attended the Gohana rally when he was out on parole. Ajay Chautala is expected to come out on parole on November 5.
